I don’t know if this is interesting or not. Probably not. But I’m just letting you know how I did my eye makeup today. I also painted my nails today so I included that :)

Eyes:
—Nude colored base
—NYX jumbo eye pencil in Yogurt (pink shimmery cream eyeshadow, used as a base) —A light pink eyeshadow (powder) with lots of shimmer all over lower part of the lid (that almost matches the color of the yogurt eye pencil)
—A matte medium-brown eyeshadow (powder) in the crease (to balance out the shimmer of the pink)
—L’Oreal Carbon Black Lineur Intense liquid liner on top lid. (Moderately thin line, slightly winged)
—Waterline lined halfway with Urban Decay’s 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil in Zero
—Covergirl LashBlast Mascara in Very Black

Nails:
—Fingers: OPI in OPI Ink with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Rockstar Pink over top.
—Toes: Ulta brand in Eye Popping Poppy with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Srobe Light on top

I guess it’s more like a mini-haul for some people haha. But, it’s a haul for me since I don’t really go buying a ton of makeup products at once all the time cause I have no money and my parents don’t want to spend a ton on makeup for me. (…This is why they keep nagging me about getting a job…)

Anyway, I was browsing around Ulta’s website last night and saw that they had a ton of sales going on.

I got four NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils—in Milk, French Fries, Yogurt, and Pots & Pans for $2.93 each (on sale form $4.19), CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara in Very Black for $2.37 on sale (and also with a $3.50 off coupon) orginally $8.39 (I’ve heard great reviews on the LastBlast, supposedly better than some higher end brand mascaras), and I got Ulta’s Automatic Eye Liner in black for $1, orginally $7.00 because I figured for only $1 it was worth a try, you know? Hopefully it works well.

So for a total of $15.09 I think I got a lot for the amount I spent (err… my mother spent because I guilted her by making the point that she’s bought my brother and sister so many silly bands…). When it comes in the mail (who knows when. hopefully soon) I’ll let you know how I like the stuff.

I don’t own and I have yet to use any Coastal Scents products, but I have heard wonderful things from many people; and I haven’t heard any bad reviews from anyone. Right now I would LOVE to purchase (if I had some money… I need a jobbbbb) the Metal Mania pallatte (88 shadows for only $24.95! Which is a HUGE deal compared to high end brands like Urban Decay and MAC), and the gel liner in true black (for $6.95 compared to MAC Fluidline, which is basically the same exact thing but costs $15). Oh, and I want some of their brushes as well because they are SO inexpensive. So, you should definiately check out Coastal Scents. I’ll do a product review on something if I ever order anything from them.
